Additional information: The term “hearing loss” refers to secondary middle-ear illness, in which the rhiopharyngeal tissue becomes inflamed causing a loss of hearing and other related symptoms, such as the inflammation of the middle ear mucous tissues (tubotympanitis, otosalpingitis, otitis media (ear infection) ) and side effects of surgery on the middle ear.
